Houlton Police Department asking for the public’s help in locating missing person

The Houlton Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.

Houlton Police Chief Joe McKenna reports the department received a call at 3:30 Monday morning reporting 34 year old Cassandra Nicole Bell was missing and possibly in danger.

Bell was last seen around 9 pm Sunday. She is listed as 5 feet inches tall, about 130 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes and was believed to be wearing black tennis shoes and carrying a large gray purse. A police dog was used to track the woman, but lost her sent in the area of Houlton Regional Hospital. The U.S. Border Patrol was assisting with the search.

Anyone with information on the woman’s whereabouts is urged to call the Houlton Police Department at 532-2287.
